Hello and Welcome to our first post!

I am Alex Nakayama, operator of Chronoworld.  Some of you have met me years ago in Vancouver, BC, Canada, some of you we simply exchanged emails about products we carry.

Regardless of technological advancement, I believe shopping is something of very personal experience.

You shop to purchase something you need, or something you want.  What ChronoWorld provide falls into the latter, I'm sure you need to trust the seller and be comfortable in purchasing.

So here is some back ground about me.  I was born in Tokyo, Japan, and falls into Generation X.

In the 1980s, I have moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada with my parents and it became home for the next 27 years.

In 2009, returned to Japan and spend most of time in Narita, Chiba, Japan, home of the Chronoworld.

Why Narita?  I wanted to stay close to the Airport, Narita is home to the Tokyo International Airport.

Airport in Narita serves as Inaternational Airport to Tokyo as the name suggests, however it is acutually located in Chiba Prefecture, roughly 70km east of Shinjuku.  The trip from the Narita Airport to central Tokyo takes anywhere from 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours.  Not getting any younger, I wanted to eliminate this exhasting part as much as possbile after long air travel.

While I love to visit Tokyo, I wasn't keen on living in one of the most populated city in the world.  I needed to have some peace of mind.  Away from hussles and bussles.  That is why ChronoWorld settled in Narita.

With this blog, we will not only post about our products, but wanted to share some information about Japan and about Narita neighbourhood.  Perhaps my experience as Japanese but culurally unattached experiences may become helpful to those of you who decides to visit Japan or simply staty over in Narita.

I hope you will visit ChronoWorld again, whether to purchase, browse thru or simply check out our blog.
