SQUALE

The overwhelming success led Squale to market their own watches and
cases with Squale name on the dial since 1974.
New production in Swiss
Jura valley and relaunch of the
brand in 2010 foreshadows a great future for Squale.

Jacques Mayol wore Squale Diver's when he set his 76m record off the shore of the Izu Peninsula,
Japan in 1970.
Over the years Squale has become synonymous with elegance and reliable
professional divers’ watches, worldwide.
Waterproof cases were sold to prestigious brands like
Blancpain and Tag Heuer, just to name a few.
The Swiss tradition of precision watch-making,
combined with a love of the sea and diving led founder,
C. Von Büren to work exclusively on the
construction of professional divers’ watches. Initially the "Squale"
mark appeared on the cases of
Swiss watches of various makes, as a sign of fine production and a quality symbol.
Then, in the '60s the production of watches with Squale mark on their dials started.
Squale was loved by many legendary divers including Jacques Mayol.
