This stock is the latest contract. What this means is that the contract has been exchanged between Marathon and various Gov't and watches produced at later date has contract date etched on the back of the case.

Dial uses Tritium Vial Technology.  Luminous property will be stable for next 15 years (approx.).  What this means is that you will not have to 'charge' the light for these index to grow in the dark!  'H3' on the dial indicates scientific symbol of 'tritium.'  Along with radioactive symbol at 3 o'clock.

*Please note that the radioactive dose is way below safe level.

Water resistance rated to 300m / 1000ft depth.  Case is cut from 316L grade solid stainless steel.  Equipped with screw down crown with anti-slip engraving on the surface so one can operate with gloved hand.
